Procedure Details

RESTYLANE® SILK is a clear gel formula containing hyaluronic acid, which is a naturally occurring component in our skin. Small, smooth particles within the gel formula are designed for subtle improvements in the lips and mouth.

An ultrafine needle allows access to targeted areas of the lips and around the mouth to achieve more precise results. Ice or a topical numbing agent can be used to reduce pain during injection if requested. After administration, the lips are plumped and fine lines are filled for a smooth, youthful mouth.

Recovery Guide

Patients typically experience mild bruising, itching, pain, redness, swelling, and tenderness at the injection site. Symptoms usually resolve in seven days or less around the mouth and 14 days or less in the lips. Most patients are able to resume their daily activities after 24 hours.
