Preservé™ is a surgical technique that uses a specialized tool to insert breast implants with minimal disruption to underlying breast tissue. The device creates a breast pocket by moving tissue aside without cutting. Once the tissue is in place, Dr. Messa can insert your implant into the created space. This breast augmentation surgery can be performed using local anesthesia and sedation, and the procedure often takes less than one hour to complete. Dr. Messa makes a small incision across the bottom of the breast to insert the Motiva® Channel Separator. This device creates a tunnel for the implant by gently moving the breast tissue aside.
Next, Dr. Messa will insert the Motiva® Inflatable Balloon tool, which creates a natural breast pocket for your implant. The implant is inserted into the space, and the incision is sutured closed. Patients return home the same day as their surgery.
Preservé™ Surgery Recovery & Aftercare
The recovery after breast augmentation using the Preservé™ technique is typically shorter and more comfortable. Patients usually return to work and activities within days, not weeks. They can often resume their full workout schedule after two weeks. Because there is little trauma to the underlying tissue, swelling and bruising after the procedure are also minimal.
